A final option is to place the mushrooms in a mason jar and cover them with honey. We recommend opting for raw honey, which will preserve the shrooms well. This can be done with the mushrooms powdered or whole, and it is recommended that you use a very thick honey to make sure that the shrooms are completely covered.
